Smooth it is the first smoothie bar in the country that is located in a hypermarket in Finland, hypermarket named K-Citymarket Kupittaa. The founders and owners of the company is two very lively and glad students, Lina Toiovnen and Irina Nurmi from Turku, Finland. Customers at Smooth it can decide by themselves what ingredients they want to have in their smoothie, the ingredients changes depending on the harvest time. The concept of Smooth it is also the first one in Finland. We are “do it yourself”- types who prefers fast and healthy snacks that tastes like homemade.

Bloode is a social enterprise that aims to meet the need for blood. It implements technology in order to create a digital community of volunteers and organize the blood donation system. It aims to tackle the huge problem of blood donation that countries such as Greece, Israel and Latam are facing. The core advantage is that it connects a social initiative with traditional companies and creates impactful and innovative CSR programs for blood donation awareness.

Equipito LLC was created for the purpose of serving as a commercial vehicle for any ideas that I intended to turn into businesses. For the past year I’ve been working on a product called Rain Smart. It’s essentially a gadget for your car in order to avoid rain water when getting in and out of your car. We have had 3 prototypes, 2 small market research samples, 1 unsuccessful Indiegogo campaign, and one Gadget Flow listing that has drawn a LOT of attention. Over 10,000 people have seen Rain Smart online in less than 50 days, 1,800+ people have shown interest to pre-order at a price point of $99 but have been drawn away by the waiting period. We are trying to start a company around this product, through distribution agreements, licensing and online sales.

“Fizzible Tech’s research division is primarily focused on research and development of wireless technologies. The focus of research has been on how to extend the power of positioning technology into the Indoor environment. Currently with the prevalence of technology and smart phones, people have become accustomed to relying on navigational tools like GPS. Invention of GPS addressed the age-old question of where am I, and where am I going. It has changed the way how we do business, it has changed the way we travel or how we communicate. But what happens when we are inside a building and need more precision than is not possible with GPS. That’s where ‘Fizzible’s IPS ’ comes in. Usability of GPS is limited when we are indoors due to its accuracy limit of 10m. If we want to track anything in an indoor environment where we spend most of our time either working or shopping or eating or at the mall or at the office and the movement is limited and multi-floored, it’s not possible through sole use of GPS. To address this problem, multiple solutions have been developed and implemented in past few years such as WiFi fingerprinting, Beacons, Blue tooth, sensors, Cell Tower signal etc but none of them provide an accuracy of less than 1 meter. This gave us an opportunity to develop a solution which is first independent of manufacturer or make of any RF capable hardware, scalable, robust and provides an accuracy of almost 25 centimeters. The research division at Fizzible which is consulted by professors from IITs and IISc have developed a prototype of the said solution having achieved an accuracy of 25 cms in an indoor environment. Autonomous vehicles, Aviation, Geophysics, Warehouse automation, Inventory management, Crowd management at Large events, Better security management at high profile locations like Airports and finding misplaced objects at home, these are just some of numerous applications of this technology”
